I am a reluctant Chelsea football fan.  Why?  I will tell you.Becuase they don't think long term.  Roman Abramovich only wants to buy the players, the manager, put them on the field, win his trophies, and go home.  They don't think more than 3 years old, they don't develop talent and let a team gel around a strong manager and its just so heartless I could....So why do I stick with Chelsea?  I mean, I am an American.  It's not like I live in England, its not like some hooligan is going to come knocking on my door to beat me up just becuase I chagned allegiances and started following Manchester United or Arsenal.  But I stick with Chelsea because they are my team.  I stick with them through and through just like I stick with my wife and family through and through.  Enjoying the good times, shedding tears..well, not really, its just soccer...over the bad.  You don't change teams.  It just isn't done.  Pick up another team to support, maybe someone in the bottom of the league?  Sure.  But just all and all chanage allegiances?  Can't do it.Oh yeah, I hiked the entire Appalahcian Trail.  Not to brag or anything but...yeah.
